On September 27, our queues stopped processing background jobs. Our system did not flag any issues and marked the jobs as processing. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Earlier today, we discovered that background jobs were not being processed at all, which prompted us to restart all queues. Around 1.4 million jobs had accumulated in the queues and are now being processed again. Nothing went missing, and any pending webhook events, emails, AI generations, etc., will be delivered or completed shortly.

We apologize for this incident and are working on a better internal notification system to ensure it does not happen again.
